Bio: Born in Madrid and attended the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Madrid. After extensive travels to South America, and by 1951, he lived in Cagnes-sur-mer, Southern France, where he worked alongside Jean Cocteau and Georges Braque for several years. Shortly after visiting Paris and Madrid he moved to the USA. He continued his love of travel within the country, notably spending time in Washington D.C., Cincinnati and Dallas. Records confirm he shared an exhibition of works with Tapies and Sam Francis in New York, 1963.
Angel Ponce De Leon is relatively unknown and underrated given his intrinsic links with key artists.
