Bio: 1st exhibited in Royal Scottish Academy and Society of Scottish Artists in 1934. Studied in Paris with Fernand Leger. Avant-garde movement of 1950w and produced sixty paintings for 1951 exhibition Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle. Member of London Group 1953. David Cargill Award 1967. RA Sir Howard Barker Scholarship 1994.
